New highway to Vallarta
To enjoy the Pacific Ocean without leaving the state, Puerto Vallarta is the favorite option for Jalisco residents and other tourists.
The agency informed that the highway will strengthen connectivity with the BajÃo, Guadalajara, Tepic, Las Islas MarÃas, BahÃa de Banderas and Puerto Vallarta, in addition to reducing the travel time from Guadalajara to Puerto Vallarta from 4 hours and 30 minutes (which is currently the case) to no more and no less than 2 hours and 30 minutes, in addition to shortening the travel time from Tepic to Puerto Vallarta from 3 hours and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Toll Booths
According to Traza tu ruta, you must pass four toll booths to get to the coastal municipality.
In Arenal you must pay $193 pesos, then in Plan de Barrancas the cost is $288, followed by Amado Nervo Easytrip for $193 pesos, La Peñita for $171 pesos and Bucerias for 223 pesos.
For 1,068 pesos in toll booths you arrive by land to Puerto Vallarta.
